Legacy Landscaping was built on real experience, not theory.
Its founder, Alan Garcia, grew up working beside his father, a longtime landscaping foreman in Carson City. Those early years of learning plant care the hard way taught Alan what quality craftsmanship really looks like. More importantly, they taught him how much trust matters in this industry.
As Alan moved through different lawn care and landscaping companies over the years, he noticed a pattern he couldn’t ignore:
- Clients were often left out of the loop.
- Timelines weren’t clear.
- Communication was inconsistent.
- Property owners didn’t always understand what was happening or why.
- The quality of work was acceptable, but the overall experience was not.
He believed there had to be a better way to deliver landscaping services in Northern Nevada, rooted in proper care for the property owner.
That belief became the foundation of Legacy Landscaping.

From day one, Alan set out to create a landscaping company that paired strong craftsmanship with a client-centered process. Legacy Landscaping was built around the idea that outdoor projects should be exciting, not stressful.

Today, Legacy Landscaping handles everything from landscaping design and complete landscape installation to xeriscaping, irrigation systems, retaining walls, rock walls, sod and turf installation, artificial turf, outdoor lighting, fencing, concrete work, and seasonal winter services.
